Minecraft 1.2 Update - Videos and more!!!

Its been a while since some really exciting Minecraft news has been released, but according to the Mojang website they plan on releasing Minecraft Update 1.2 tomorrow on March 1st! Yay!  Here are the details from their website posted by Jeb:

Hello! 

We plan to release Minecraft 1.2 tomorrow, but you can already check it out by downloading and installing it like a weekly snapshot! 

Client: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_2/minecraft.jar 

Server: http://assets.minecraft.net/1_2/minecraft_server.jar 

Full change log will be posted tomorrow, but it’s basically all the snapshots since Minecraft 1.1 packed into one :)

Of course the yogscast has full videos of all of the new features which you can find after the break.

Here is a little bonus material, I came across this a while ago but didn't' want to make it a post unto itself but I found it amusing how much Minecraft is becoming integrated into the mainstream! ;) hehe That's a very nice scientist you have there...BOOM!
